For many years I focused on my professional life and developed my career.  There was always something missing for me.  I needed a creative outlet where I could express myself.

I found my creative outlet through handbuilt clay sculpture.  I decided to take a class from a local teacher and fell in love with the first pinch pot that I made.  The focus of my work continues to grow from sculpture to handbuilt functional items.  My pieces range from traditional stoneware glazed items to raku sculpture.  The most enjoyable part of my work is not knowing what the final product will look like until both firings are complete.
